What is a float switch? A float switch is a device used to determine the level of liquid inside a tank. It can be used in a pump, an alarm, and indicator or other devices. Float switches come in a variety of sizes – from small to large and simple to complex ones. There are a lot of types of float switch and the most common one is the float that is raising a rod which in turn puts into action a microswitch.
